Nest – A thermostat that learns

Nest - The Learning ThermostatThe Nest learning thermostat is a clever little device that replaces your normal heating control. It was developed by former Apple engineer Tony Fadell and lets you intuitively and – ultimately – automatically heat your home.

Nest is very easy to control. Mostly all you’ll have to do is turning it’s outer ring to a warmer or cooler temperature and Nest will learn your preferences over time. Additionally it senses if you are away and adjusts the temperature down so you won’t pay too much on your heating bill. The device is also connected to several third party services, so it will know when it’s day or night and what the current weather conditions are outside.
Lastly Nest also features a way to control your home temperature via a smartphone app while you’re out and away.
