Good Night Lamp – a family of connected lamps

Good Night Lamp

The Good Night Lamp is a collection of one big and several smaller lamps that interconnect wirelessly.

The little lamps lets you communicate the act of coming home, leaving the office or going to sleep to the big lamp. You can send out the small ones to friends all over the world to signal home to you or give one to your child so you know when they’re going to sleep. What makes Good Night Lamp so intriguing is the ease of use and “un-nerdiness” of the whole system. I can easily picture those devices even in homes of people who are not as technically minded as I am.

Would you have a use for such everyday items that use networking behind the scenes to communicate with each other? Let me know in the comments!
